Why Pallisa?

There are several aspects of this project that set it apart from other, similar causes. First, Pallisa is an opportunity for you to make a real difference now. The only resource lacking in this project is the money to see it through to completion. The plan is in place; the building supplies are available; the community is in dire need.

Secondly, and more importantly, it is a project mandated by the community it is currently serving. This idea did not come from the minds of people far-removed from the daily realities of life in Pallisa. It is not a foreign-based, top-down attempt to promote development with little-to-no financial transparency. It is a community-driven, financially transparent, grass-roots project that seeks to empower people within the community to promote development through improved health.
