Our Goal

Our goal is two-fold: it involves a financial component as well as a manpower component. First and foremost we want to raise the money it will take to turn the ACHC into a hospital. We’ve decided that $500,000 is a nice round number that will cover the amount it will take to complete Phase I plus a little extra to buy some of the more expensive medical supplies (like an ultrasound machine and an X-ray machine).

As for the manpower, we want to bring teams of volunteers to Pallisa from June – August 2009 to provide medical assistance to the staff at the clinic and to provide helping hands for building the wards.
