If we are lucky, we are given moments in life that revolutionize how we think, and push us beyond the boundaries we place around our capabilities. Being in Pallisa and volunteering at Agule are the moments of my revolution. Being graced by this community, I felt the most radical love I have ever experienced and, for the first time, I began to understand how to use love for a purpose far greater than I had ever imagined.

Love is an incredibly powerful tool that I believe will change the world. My desire is simple, really: I want to spread love around in an unselfish and unashamed way. In a smile; in a kind word; in the laying on of hands; in being present in the lives of people. Pallisa showed me how possible this desire is; in short, I fell in love with this community and want to share the experience of that love with as many people as I can.

Danielle, the amazing woman who’s heart for Pallisa so closely mirrors my own, wrote to me the following: “Radiating through you is the boldness this world craves”. I believe this boldness lies within all of us; let us use this gift to challenge each other to extend the boundaries of our capabilities. Together, we can spread the love that the world so desperately needs.
